ODESZA is set to release a live compilation album titled ‘The Last Goodbye Tour Live’ on May 31, 2024, marking "the end of an era" in conjunction with their upcoming Last Goodbye Finale run this summer.
“We’re endlessly grateful to our incredible fans who have attended our shows over the years!” ODESZA expressed on Instagram. “Your energy and support inspires us to do what we do. We love the opportunity to interpret our work for the live show setting and share it with you on stage.”
“Through the release of these live recordings, we hope that people will be able to revisit and relive the live performances that have brought us so much joy and connection throughout our careers,” their statement continued.
ODESZA’s groundbreaking The Last Goodbye “era” began with the release of its eponymous and now Grammy-nominated album in 2022. The project sparked a year-long world tour that remains one of live music’s most cherished modern marvels.
Renowned for its spectacular production and live instrumentation— including ODESZA’s iconic drumline— the Last Goodbye tour grossed $25.6 million in 2022 before being extended into 2023 with landmark festival appearances like Outside Lands, Electric Forest, and Life Is Beautiful.
In July 2023, the release of The Last Goodbye Cinematic Experience, a full-length documentary film about the album and tour, further solidified the tour’s legacy.
Ahead of the live album’s release next month, ODESZA has unveiled two tracks from the compilation today, featuring live renditions of “Forgive Me” and “A Moment Apart.”
