Since early April, crews have been hard at work transforming an ordinary parking lot outside the Las Vegas Motor Speedway into a desert oasis for an estimated 30,000 festival attendees. This includes installing a Guinness World Record-breaking 3 million square feet of artificial turf, massive shade structures, temporary swimming pools, and more.
Camp EDC will kick off this year’s celebration on Thursday, May 16, with a camp-exclusive homecoming party. Running from 8 PM to 3 AM, the day-zero reunion will take over the Sonic Grove stage at Camp EDC’s Mesa area, featuring performances from Eric Prydz, MK, Ranger Trucco, Alex Wann, and Natalia Roth.
Throughout the festival weekend, the Mesa will remain a pre-party hub with a three-day run of Oasis pool parties hosted by Insomniac’s Day Trip, Bassrush, and Insomniac Records brands.
Day Trip’s Friday pool party bill includes Deeper Purpose, J. Worra, Max Styler, and San Pacho. On Saturday, Bassrush will host drum & bass favorites like ÆON:MODE and Bou, while Insomniac Records has tapped HUGEL, Jackie Hollander, and more for Sunday’s pool party roster.
Camp EDC’s nightly afterparties will run well past sunrise until 10 AM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Saturday’s afterparty lineup features DJ Heartstring, HAAi, and Matisa. Sunday’s Club Space takeover will host Joseph Capriati, Ben Sterling, and Maddy Maia B2B Tottie, while Monday’s closing party will feature Diplo, Mau P, HoneyLuv, and Baggi.
A new Wide Awake art car means there will be even more music at Camp EDC than in previous years. Art car performances will feature EVALUTION, INAKTIV, Steller, and many more over four days.
This year’s daytime activities at Camp EDC’s Sol, Cascada, and Flora tents include wellness events like yoga—with and without goats—breathwork and meditations, music-led workout classes, painting, kandi making, and much more.
